Fold in half in the middle of the bed, toss as a throw, lie on an angle, or place at the foot of the bed. The two add depth and dimension to the room.
A quilted comforter also looks great as wall art. In fact it looks more than great, it looks fantastic. Choose a size that's slightly smaller than bed size. A twin or double works very good.
Your nautical room is going to look great especially with your lighthouse comforters. There is no other theme that's so grounding and fun to do.
